The Interview

I interview my mom and this is her answers:

1. What was the funniest thing I did when I was a baby?
When you walked away from us while we were eating and went straight to the stage where there were artists dancing, and you joined them not minding what music they were dancing too. We only found out when the host started announcing for the parent of the child dancing ‘singkil’ on stage. (Okay, I don’t know about that, I wish I was like that right now. What’s singkil?)

2. What was my first word?
Mama… (what a common word, right?!)

3. What was my first food/favorite food?
Your first food is gerber food (I think that’s a baby food…) Your favorite food is spaghetti (yeah, but the Filipino style, specially my grandmother’s or tita’s spaghetti or even the Jollibee spaghetti.)

4. What was the craziest thing you did when you were a student?
In our CAT class where I was aspiring for adjutant, they had to make sure that the aspirants have good voices, because they command the whole regiment. So our Sr. officer made us shout ‘I don’t have a panty’ everytime we’re in her command. Looking back, I think it was silly. (Okay, once she said this, I swear I was laughing like nonstop.)

5. How did you and dad/mom meet? (if it's too awkward to ask, you're excused)
Dad and I are classmates in high school. (Okay, I heard that a ton of times, my dad used to say a lot of things about him and my mom. Some times I’m even embarrase, when he started saying this stuff in front of my friends and classmates…)

6. If you could do anything other than what you are doing now, what would it be?
Maybe a doctor, as I love helping people. I wanted to be a doctor but since we don’t have a lot of money to pay for college expenses, I just chose another course. (Seriously, I heard this thing from grandmother, my mother’s mom, for ton or times…)

7. Tell me a secret you kept from your parents. (*grin*)
None that I can recall as my parents have been very supportive. (I agree to that)

8. Tell me something about you that I still don’t know.
That when I was in first grade, I was very happy receiving my report card where all my grades were less than 80, I though it was cool that the grades were almost the same, I didn’t know that getting less than 80% is bad. From then on I strived and graduated valedictorian in elementary. (Mom, why didn’t you tells us this one before? Well now I knew…)
