Most Wasted-Movie I've Watched

The most wasted movie I watched was the First Day High movie. It is the most wasted movie ever. I watched the movie because I was only curious what is in the movie and I've been seeing their commercial in the ABS-CBN. My first impression of this movie that it was a musical movie or a good youth movie with corny lines. Most Filipino movies, I've watched was corny for some, but this one was corny but the worst movie ever. If you watch the High School Musical of Disney Channel, from the very beginning of the movie, it is already obvious that it's a copy-cat of the High School Musical the movie. The plot and the climaz of the movie was not even interesting. The scenes that are obvious to be a copy-cat was the part when Kim Chiu was singing alone on the corridors being confused about her love to Gerald. This obviously like the part when Gabriella Montez (Vanessa Hudgens) was singing in the corridors. The other obvious copy-cut scene was the part when Gerald's teammates persuade him to choose his basketball career over his love for Kim. This is similar to the part when Corbin Bleu and his teammates are persuading Zac Efron to focus on his basketball finals and forget about Gabriella.

I guess many people still want to watch it or was enjoyed watching it was because they haven't watched High School Musical the movie. Maybe they also want to watch it because they idolizes the stars, Kim Chiu, Gerald Anderson, Jason Abalos, Maja Salvador and Geoff Eigelman.

I don't if it's my taste, or just this movie sucks but it's up to you if you want to watch it.

She's the Man is one of my favorite movies because of the story and artists or stars. I like the idea of Amanda Bynes turning into a boy, her twin brother who went to England. She loves soccer and when her team was cut in the school, she tries to sign up for the boys’ soccer team but they didn’t let her. She then went to their rival school, his twin brother’s new school, and pretends she’s her twin brother. She asked her gay friend to transform her into a guy, look, act and talk like a guy, so he can join the soccer team and prove everyone that girls can be as good as boys in soccer. She really looks like a guy, particularly when she’s talking.

My favorite scenes:

When Amanda’s guy friends thought he’s a loser, she asked her friends to make her look cooler and hotter. In the restaurant, her two friends pretend to be her ex-girl friend, and her brother’s real ex-girlfriend was there and dumped her in front of many people. After that day, her guy friends thought he’s cool. That part was really funny.

When she fell in the floor, after Olivia told her that there’s a blood stain in her shirt.

The best part was the last part, when the soccer was held and her secrets were revealed. On the day of the soccer match, her twin brother came and he gets to play on the soccer team. When the principle came and told everyone that his brother is a girl, he showed everyone he’s you know what to prove that he's a guy. When Amanda was playing, she revealed her secrets and plays the soccer game. And also the best part happened when her ex-boyfriend cried like a baby, after she beats him.
